FESTIVAL CINÉMA D’ALÈS: LE PASS À 20€

The Alès Cinema Festival – Itinérances, a general event created in 1983, combines fiction, documentaries, animation, heritage and discoveries around a large, intergenerational audience with varied origins. The Festival promotes young European creation by highlighting films which will not have the chance of a major commercial exhibition, invests in image education with programming for young audiences and actions aimed at students from kindergarten to university.

Beyond the organization of this event, the association carries out several complementary actions throughout the year: the animation and coordination of school and cinema image education systems in the Gard and high school students and Apprentices at cinema in Occitanie (with Cinephilae), the cultural partnership for cinema-audiovisual teaching at the Jean-Baptiste Dumas high schools in Alès and Albert Einstein in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, the setting up of numerous special sessions with exhibitors , media libraries and the national Cratère stage, as well as the organization at the end of August of the Ciné Été Festival with Alès Agglomération.

Le Festival Cinéma d’Alès – Itinérances , manifestation généraliste créée en 1983, conjugue fictions, documentaires, animation, patrimoine et découvertes autour d’un public nombreux, intergénérationnel et aux origines variées. Le Festival valorise la jeune création européenne en mettant en avant des films qui n’auront pas la chance d’une exposition commerciale majeure, s’investit dans l’éducation à l’image avec une programmation jeune public et des actions en direction des élèves de la maternelle à l’université.

Au-delà de l’organisation de cet événement, l’association mène tout au long de l’année plusieurs actions complémentaires : l’animation et la coordination des dispositifs d’éducation à l’image École et Cinéma dans le Gard et Lycéens et Apprentis au cinéma en Occitanie (avec Cinephilae), le partenariat culturel pour l’enseignement cinéma-audiovisuel des lycées Jean-Baptiste Dumas d’Alès et Albert Einstein de Bagnols-sur-Cèze, la mise en place de nombreuses séances spéciales avec des exploitants, des médiathèques et la scène nationale du Cratère, ainsi que l’organisation fin août du Festival Ciné Été avec Alès Agglomération.
