The J. Dekert Museum in the Lubuskie Region, located in Gorzów Wielkopolski, is the oldest museum in the region, operating since 1945. Its main seat, the early‑20th‑century Schroeder Villa with its surrounding garden, forms the historic Villa‑Garden Complex. The museum preserves and exhibits the cultural heritage of the Lubuskie area, featuring archaeological discoveries from prehistoric settlements, ethnographic displays of traditional rural life, historical artefacts documenting the development of Gorzów, and regional art collections. It also encompasses three additional branches: the White Granary with exhibitions on the city’s history, the Młyńska Farmstead in Bogdaniec showcasing milling heritage, and the Santok Stronghold Museum presenting the medieval origins of the region.

Muzeum Lubuskie im. Jana Dekerta w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim to najstarsze muzeum w województwie lubuskim, działające nieprzerwanie od 8 września 1945 roku. Jego główną siedzibą jest zabytkowa willa fabrykanta Gustawa Schroedera z początku XX wieku, otoczona ogrodem, tworząca tzw. Zespół Willowo‑Ogrodowy. Muzeum gromadzi i prezentuje dziedzictwo historyczne, archeologiczne, etnograficzne i artystyczne regionu, obejmujące m.in. prehistoryczne znaleziska, kulturę dawnych mieszkańców, artefakty związane z dziejami Gorzowa oraz bogate kolekcje sztuki regionalnej. W skład instytucji wchodzą także trzy filie: Biały Spichlerz, prezentujący historię miasta; Zagroda Młyńska w Bogdańcu – skansen młynarski; oraz Muzeum Grodu Santok, ukazujące średniowieczne początki regionu.
