The Józef Mehoffer House is a biographical museum dedicated to one of the leading artists of the Young Poland movement — a painter, graphic artist and renowned stained‑glass designer. Located at 26 Krupnicza Street, the house was purchased and arranged by Mehoffer in 1932 as both his family home and artistic space.
Today, the museum preserves the atmosphere of the original residence, featuring authentic furniture, artworks, Japanese prints, decorative objects and a significant collection of Mehoffer’s own pieces — oil paintings, drawings, stained‑glass designs and decorative projects. The rooms, including the salon, dining room, library and private quarters, have been carefully recreated according to historical documentation.
Behind the house lies a charming garden designed by Mehoffer himself, completing the intimate character of this artist’s residence.

Dom Józefa Mehoffera to muzeum biograficzne poświęcone jednemu z najważniejszych artystów Młodej Polski — malarzowi, grafikowi i wybitnemu twórcy witraży. Mieści się w kamienicy przy ul. Krupniczej 26, którą Mehoffer zakupił w 1932 roku i urządził według własnej koncepcji.
Dzisiejsza ekspozycja zachowuje charakter prywatnego domu artysty: autentyczne meble, dzieła sztuki, japońskie drzeworyty, rzemiosło artystyczne oraz liczne obrazy, rysunki, projekty dekoracyjne i witraże Mehoffera. Wnętrza – salon, jadalnia, biblioteka, pokoje prywatne – odtworzono zgodnie z układem z czasów artysty.
Za domem znajduje się kameralny ogród zaaranżowany według projektu Mehoffera, stanowiący integralną część przestrzeni muzealnej.
