The Museum of Engineering and Technology in Kraków is located in a historic tram depot dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a unique complex that documents the development of urban transport, municipal engineering and technical innovation. The museum’s collection includes more than 3000 exhibits, such as historic trams, vintage vehicles, machines, electrical devices and elements of urban infrastructure.
Its main permanent exhibition, “The City: Technosensitivity”, takes visitors on a journey through the history of engineering — from ancient inventions to modern technologies and future-oriented solutions. The museum also operates two additional branches: the Stanisław Lem Experimental Garden and the Czyżyny Hangar dedicated to Polish automotive history. Numerous interactive stations make the museum engaging for all ages.

Muzeum Inżynierii i Techniki w Krakowie mieści się w zabytkowym kompleksie dawnej zajezdni tramwajowej z końca XIX i początku XX wieku. To unikatowe w skali europejskiej miejsce prezentujące historię komunikacji miejskiej, inżynierii i rozwoju techniki w miastach. Kolekcja obejmuje ponad 3000 obiektów – od tramwajów i zabytkowych pojazdów po maszyny, urządzenia elektryczne, elementy infrastruktury miejskiej oraz przykłady dawnej technologii.
Stała wystawa „Miasto. Technoczułość” prowadzi zwiedzających przez dzieje inżynierii urbanistycznej – od starożytnych wynalazków po współczesne systemy i przyszłe rozwiązania. Muzeum prowadzi także Ogród Doświadczeń im. Stanisława Lema oraz Hangar Czyżyny, prezentujący m.in. historię polskiej motoryzacji. Wiele stanowisk ma charakter interaktywny, co czyni placówkę atrakcyjną zarówno dla dorosłych, jak i dzieci.
