The Museum of the Vistula River in Tczew is Poland’s largest institution dedicated to the history of the Vistula River and operates as a branch of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk. Housed in a restored 19th‑century industrial building, the museum offers an immersive exhibition that traces the river’s past—from early settlements and the golden age of river navigation, through the partitions of Poland and the Industrial Revolution, to the post‑war reconstruction and the development of modern inland navigation. Visitors can explore traditional boats, ship models, archaeological finds, fishing and boatbuilding tools, as well as interactive multimedia installations illustrating port construction, river trade, and shipyard development. The exhibition highlights the central role of the Vistula in Poland’s economic, cultural, and historical landscape.

Muzeum Wisły w Tczewie to największa w Polsce placówka poświęcona historii rzeki Wisły, działająca jako oddział Narodowego Muzeum Morskiego w Gdańsku. Mieści się w XIX‑wiecznym, zabytkowym budynku dawnej fabryki Emila Kelcha, zaadaptowanym na nowoczesną przestrzeń muzealną. Ekspozycja ukazuje dzieje Wisły od najdawniejszych czasów, przez złoty wiek żeglugi wiślanej, okres rozbiorów, rewolucję przemysłową, aż po powojenną odbudowę i rozwój transportu rzecznego. Zwiedzający mogą zobaczyć tradycyjne łodzie, modele statków, narzędzia szkutnicze, zabytki archeologiczne oraz multimedialne prezentacje, które przybliżają handel rzeczno‑wodny, budowę portów i szkutnictwo. Wystawa podkreśla także znaczenie Wisły dla gospodarki, kultury oraz rozwoju kraju.
