The Fishing Museum in Hel is located in a 15th‑century former church of St. Peter and Paul, right next to the harbour. Inside this atmospheric historic building, visitors can explore the history of fishing on the Gulf of Gdańsk and Vistula Lagoon, as well as traditional Kashubian boatbuilding. The exhibition includes historic boats, fishing tools, cutter models, archival photographs and reconstructed scenes of fishermen’s daily work. Outdoors, a small open‑air display features traditional boats, while the viewing tower provides sweeping views over the harbour and the Gulf of Gdańsk. Compact yet rich in atmosphere, the museum perfectly captures how the sea shaped life on the Hel Peninsula.

Muzeum Rybołówstwa w Helu mieści się w XV‑wiecznym, dawnym kościele św. Piotra i Pawła, położonym tuż przy porcie. W tej wyjątkowej przestrzeni prezentowana jest historia rybołówstwa na wodach Zatoki Gdańskiej i Zalewu Wiślanego oraz tradycyjne kaszubskie szkutnictwo. Na ekspozycji znajdują się zabytkowe łodzie, narzędzia rybackie, modele kutrów, archiwalne zdjęcia i sceny odtwarzające dawną pracę rybaka. Wokół muzeum działa niewielki skansen łodzi, a wieża widokowa oferuje panoramę portu i Zatoki Gdańskiej — jedną z najczęściej wskazywanych atrakcji. To kompaktowe, a jednocześnie bardzo klimatyczne muzeum, które świetnie pokazuje, jak morze kształtowało życie Helu.
