The Museum in Mrągowo, a branch of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, is located in the historic 19th‑century town hall. Its permanent exhibition, “Mrągowo and the Mrągowo Region from the Dawn of Time to the Present”, presents the history of the area from the Stone Age through the 20th century. Highlights include archaeological finds from the Mrągowo Lake District, such as elite Roman‑period military equipment discovered in Czaszkowo.
The museum also preserves collections in history, ethnography, numismatics, and folk and contemporary art, and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and educational events.

Muzeum w Mrągowie, będące oddziałem Muzeum Warmii i Mazur w Olsztynie, mieści się w zabytkowym ratuszu z 1825 roku w centrum miasta. Placówka prezentuje historię i dziedzictwo ziemi mrągowskiej – od epoki kamienia po czasy współczesne. Na stałej wystawie „Mrągowo i ziemia mrągowska od zarania dziejów po czasy współczesne” zobaczyć można m.in. znaleziska archeologiczne z Pojezierza Mrągowskiego, w tym wyjątkowe wyposażenie wojskowe z okresu wpływów rzymskich odkryte w Czaszkowie.
Muzeum gromadzi także zbiory z zakresu historii, etnografii, numizmatyki, sztuki współczesnej i ludowej, prowadzi wystawy czasowe oraz działania edukacyjne.
