The Museum of Coal Mining Industry in Zabrze is one of Poland’s most important industrial heritage sites, offering a unique opportunity to explore the history of coal extraction in authentic underground spaces. The complex consists of two main attractions: the Queen Louise Adit and the Guido Mine, which together present the rich mining traditions and technological advancements that shaped Upper Silesia.
The Queen Louise Adit is an impressive system of historical underground workings and surface structures, considered a masterpiece of 19th‑century engineering.
