The Romanesque Cellar is one of the oldest preserved architectural spaces in Gdańsk and a branch of the Archaeological Museum in Gdańsk. Located on Dominikański Square, it occupies the underground remains of the 13th‑century Church of St. Nicholas, once part of the Dominican monastery complex.
Its permanent exhibition presents authentic Romanesque masonry, architectural fragments and archaeological finds uncovered during excavations, offering insight into the early medieval history of Gdańsk and the daily life of the monastic community. The site is considered one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the city.

Piwnica Romańska to jeden z najcenniejszych zabytków wczesnośredniowiecznego Gdańska i oddział Muzeum Archeologicznego w Gdańsku. Mieści się na pl. Dominikańskim, w podziemiach dawnego klasztoru dominikanów, gdzie zachowały się relikty XIII‑wiecznego kościoła św. Mikołaja. To najstarsza zachowana przestrzeń architektoniczna w mieście.
W podziemiach prezentowana jest stała ekspozycja ukazująca romańskie elementy świątyni, odkryte podczas badań archeologicznych: fragmenty murów, sklepienia, detale architektoniczne oraz znaleziska związane z funkcjonowaniem średniowiecznego klasztoru. Miejsce wyróżnia się autentycznym, surowym charakterem i należy do najważniejszych stanowisk archeologicznych Gdańska.
