The Ghiani family decided to open their home to guests several years ago. We started because we are convinced that Isili and the Sarcidano area have a lot to offer tourists, and we believe that it is up to the local people to promote the area through their own efforts. We had the opportunity to set up a B&B, so we decided to start renovating the premises ourselves to make them as welcoming as possible.
Lorenzo, born in 1986, runs the B&B and decided to embark on this path after finishing his university studies in Cagliari. He grew up in Sarcidano and does not want to leave this area, even though he loves to travel and has participated in many EU intercultural programmes in other European countries.
Sandro, his father, was head of Cultural Services for the Municipality of Isili and is now retired. Gilda is a retired social worker.

La famiglia Ghiani ha deciso di aprire la propria casa all’ospitalità ormai da svariati anni. Abbiamo iniziato perché siamo convinti che Isili e il Sarcidano abbiano molto da offrire ai turisti e crediamo che spetti alle persone del posto valorizzare il territorio con il proprio impegno. Avevamo la possibilità di realizzare un B&B e così abbiamo deciso di iniziare a sistemare da noi gli spazi in modo che fossero quanto più possibile accoglienti.
Lorenzo, nato nel 1986, si occupa del B&B e ha deciso di intraprendere questa strada dopo aver finito i suoi studi universitari a Cagliari.Lui è cresciuto in Sarcidano e non vuole abbandonare questo territorio, anche se ama viaggiare e ha partecipato a molti programmi interculturali dell’UE in altri paesi europei.
Sandro, suo padre, è stato responsabile dei Servizi Culturali del Comune di Isili, attualmente è in pensione. Gilda invece è un’assistente sociale in pensione.
